Beyond Isolated Pages
Many websites are developed one page at a time.
A subject is chosen, an article is written and the page is published. Attention then moves to the next topic, which may have little connection to what came before.
Over time, the website grows larger, but its knowledge does not necessarily become more useful. The pages may exist alongside one another without forming a coherent journey for the reader.
Follow the Next Logical Question
A more natural approach begins with the knowledge already published.
After answering one question, consider what the reader may need to understand next:
- What detail remains unexplained?
- What assumption needs clarification?
- What related question naturally follows?
- Where might the reader's understanding stop?
Each answer can become the starting point for another useful piece of content. Rather than repeatedly beginning with a blank page, the website grows by developing the ideas it already contains.

When related pages begin linking and building upon one another, the reader is no longer presented with isolated destinations.
One explanation leads naturally to the next. Individual pages become part of a connected journey of understanding, and the website begins to function as a body of knowledge rather than simply a collection of content.
